Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

I had a deep clean procedure (scaling and root planing iirc) and I was pretty nervous initially, but it went great! Check-in with Hanna was effortless, and the Hygenist, Elena, was amazing. She was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I was told it would be a 2-hour process when I first scheduled the appointment, but it only took a bit over 1.5 hours.
